SOSNA is an integrated multicultural organization representative of the community it serves. SOSNA has promoted and implemented affordable housing development. SOSNA offers Housing Counseling services funded by The Office of Housing and Community Development of Philadelphia:
- Prepurchase counseling
- Tenant counseling
- Rental delinquency counseling
- Post purchase counseling
- Anti-predatory lending counseling
- Housing consumer education (money management and credit repair)
- Deed-related problems

- You are a first-time homebuyer
- You participate in housing counseling
- You must be counseled before signing an agreement of sale
- You buy a home within the City of Philadelphia and qualify for a mortgage.

SOSNA is the Neighborhood Advisory Committee for the area from South Street to Washington Avenue, Broad Street West to the Schuylkill River, funded by the Office of Housing and Community Development to provide citizen input into their redevelopment process in our community.
