Leapfrogging over "Suburban Soiree", we come to the third of three vignettes that comprise "City Chic." (The other two were a rooftop garden and a city park.) This minuscule backyard demonstrates the way in which even a small space can provide a space for flowers, vegetables, and relaxation.

Lemheney wanted everyone to be able to leave the Flower Show with
at least one idea to implement at home. This is my "take home"
idea -- the use of a decrepit ladder (and we have one!) to provide vertical
interest in a small back yard.
