In addition to major displays by landscapers, florists, and educational organizations, the Flower Show provides a creative outlet for individuals and groups in its competitive classes. Here, the Men's Club of Philadelphia interpret a "community" theme with a garden that represents a harvest festival at a North Carolina mill, above. The floral arrangement, below, was inspired by the painting from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts shown in reproduction behind it. Both entries were ribbon winners.

Note the sly use of the same artwork in both displays.
