Doylestown PA
GLEANINGS:
- Emily Cook’s brother wrote the song that inspired the exhibit, and it’s playing on a loop inside the exhibit
- A few weeks ago, half of the exhibit fell apart when Mark opened his garage door and it hit one of the lights over the trellis.
- The sea scene on the southern end of the exhibit (closest to the A Hall doors) can only be seen from one narrow angle, but it’s very cool when you see it
- "Sea scene" fence in Show 2016 (Wonders of Water - CapeCod theme); 2014 (Articulture, with a different paint job)
- The verbena above the trellis was just installed and already started curling around the trellises
- Overall Concept: Courtyard fitting of the Riviera based on inspiration in the textures, structures, and colors of the Mediterranean landscape.
- Featured theme aspect: Mosaic patio spaces, walled gardens, large arbors, and water features with respect to conservation and reflection.
- Specific highlighted plants/florals:
