Villanova Volunteers in the Thirtieth Ward
Saturday, March 23, 2002

Seven volunteers from the Villanova University Sunshine Program joined area residents to clean up
the 700 block of South 20th Street and the 2100 block of Webster Street.

When 20th Street was cleared of trash, the crew cleaned up the Fulton Street "alley" between the 2000 block of St. Albans and Catharine Streets

Tons o' trash. The crew in the 2100 block of Webster Street worked with block captain Aileen Eaddy. This sparsely populated block is a favorite target for contractors who dump their construction debris here rather than paying dumping fees, creating an eyesore and health hazard for block residents.

This weed tree in the 2100 block of Webster Street had sustained storm damage, creating hazardous hanging branches.
